Neutrals are beautiful too...

Hello!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  I know I did!  My husband and my little man made me feel like quite the Queen for Mother's Day weekend.

I want to share a Mom's Day card that I created for a client.  What I love about it is its subtlety.  It's a quiet and peaceful beauty.  No too bold, brazen or loud.  I decided to play along with CASE Study and For Your Inspiration this week.  I'm on the FYI DT but, I didn't participate this time so, I'm using the fab photo here!

The Muse over at CASE Study is Maile Belles.  She's the queen of CAS!  Below is the card to case!

This is the inspiration photo from FYI.  It's a dreary dream isn't it?

Here is my interpretation of the situation!

Aaaah...carnations and a butterfly!

Lovely Birthday

Hello Bloggeritas!  I decided to play along with the CASE Study Challenge this week!  I'm really enjoying creating cards for the love of it rather than HAVING to make them! Ever since I stop trying to be "a name" in the Papercrafting world, my designs (and morale) have improved!  #PraiseMoses for reality checks! :)

So, here is the inspiration card:
Here is my beauty!  Don't you love the colors, the dots, the flowers and the SPRINGY FEELING of it all?  I know I do!

Remember to craft because you love it!  Don't worry about anything else except enjoying your "play" time!

For Your Inspiration Challenge - A Horizon

Hello Bloggeritas!  It's time for another awesome For Your Inspiration photo challenge!  Don't you just love sunset with clouds?  I do.  The clouds and the sun create a delicious ombre effect that is so awe inspiring that you can't help but to stare into the heavens and allow yourself to be moved my the Earth.

Here is the photo for today's challenge:

Here is my interpretation of the situation:

I love my polka dotted and honeycomb clouds, don't you?  This card is also inspired by Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger photo:

Pearls make everything better don't they?

Don't forget to stop by and check out the rest of the lovely creations made by my fellow Design Team DIVAS!

HELLO Chevrons!

Bloggeritas!  I found this cool swiss dotted chevron embossing folder from Cuttlebug and it is so cute it makes me want to do three jumping jacks and a toe touch! Yeah...all that! LOL!  This card is for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge.  The challenge this week is to use both chevrons and flowers on your CAS project.
Check out my card!

The chevrons are TO DIE right?  Told ya!  Enjoy your Monday and craft in good health!

Washed out Mom Card

Hello Bloggeritas!  Are the flowers blooming and the birds singing where you live?  I read the funniest thing on Facebook last week!  A guy said that the "Georgia Bird Mass Choir" sings outside his window every morning!  Is that not HILARIOUS?  LOL!  I can relate!

Anyway...today, I'm sharing my card for the CASE study challenge.  JJ Bolton's card is the one that's being cased and it is a CAS beauty!  I don't own any alpha dies but, I'm going to change that because they're a papercrafting essential!  I don't know how I ended up without them.

Here is her lovely creation:

Here is my case!  I used the same paper for the washing machine and popped it up with some 3M mounting tape (Two Tears Craft Budget Buster).  The stamp is from Paper Smooches.  I love mom cards and what better chore to feature on a card for mom than laundry!  We moms love laundry (now everybody say...) YAY!

I hope you're enjoying the beginnings of Spring and all the joy that it brings! And don't worry if you have loads of laundry to do...just smile through it! :)

Coffee and Inspiration with For Your Inspiration!

Hello Bloggeritas!  I wish I drank coffee. I don't even like the smell.  I only wish I drank it because the caffeine is much needed in the mornings!  Sigh...I don't even like tea!  I do like a good Coke though!  Today's card is inspired by this LOVELY photo:

Can you believe how magnificent this is?  I mean the blue sky, the red jagged rock...the mirrored puddle. Aaahhh bliss...

Well, this is my version of bliss! BUT...there is Coke inside the cup instead of coffee! It leaves the same stains hence the rings behind the cup!  "They Should Just Call it Crack" is a perfect sentiment don't you think?

Now, a lot of bloggers have the PERFECT blogs with their PERFECT photos well not me buddy! I want you to see what my work space looked like AFTER I was done. I should have taken a photo of the whole desk! But, yeah...all kinds of Crafty McNasty on my desk afterwards! LOL!

So please stop by For Your Inspiration and check out all the FABULOUS creations my fellow DT members have come up with!  Just in case you don't make it to the blog right now...here is a list!

Easter Funners! With CAS-ual Fridays!

Hello there!  Anybody out there?  I know it's been slow going in these parts BUT...that's for a good reason! I've been redecorating and re prioritizing!  Look at me now!  New digs and a new vision! Hot dawg!

My first card that's debuting on the NEW and IMPROVED Two Tears in my Bucket is THIS beauty that I created for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge.  The challenge this week is to create a CAS project using chipboard.  I went with these FABULOSO Thickers!  Happy Easter y'all!

Isn't that birdie on a branch just the bees' knees and the mouse's cheese?  Oh, be still my crafty heart!  I got that die set from WPlus9.  The sentiment "Easter" is from a Wilson Designs Stamp set. Now, don't ask me the name of it because quite frankly, I'm too lazy to go look it up BUT...visit their site...it's good stuff!

Well alright!  Until next time!
