Color Throw Down #139
Happy Friday! T.G.I.F. Yesterday my hubby turned 29 and we're celebrating this weekend by going on a "staycation"! We've booked a suite here in Atlanta and we're going to enjoy our city. Cost effective and fun! Picard will be at home with his "Ga" (That's what he named her. Guess grandma was too much!). Here are the juices and berries of The Color Throwdown challenge...
I used the "Say Cheese" stamp set from Lawn Fawn and Ad Sense set from Papertrey. The sentiment flags are from good old Microsoft Word. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

CPS Card Sketch Challenge #215
You would not believe how much folks love their mamas! Well, yes you would! It's just that I've been getting many card orders for Mother's Day and as a mom, it warms my heart! I used the CPS sketch #215 to make a cute card. Again, I had a little crafter's ADD and didn't stick very closely to the sketch but, a lot of the elements are there! :) Here are the juices and berries:
Verve is the pickles on my Chick-fil-A sandwich right now! Their April release MADE this card! :)

Fun Mojo Monday #188
This is turning out to be a terrific week! It's my Senior year of school, and I'm getting ready for my Demonstration Teaching. Whew...it's been a long time coming and I'm excited to put this chapter of my life behind me! Also, folks seem to be slowly trickling onto the Triplicate Trials Tuesday challenge blog! That's great because I think people will really enjoy these three-part challenges! Enough rambling...here are the juices and berries of the Mojo Monday sketch:
As you can see, I'm really enjoying my new VERVE stamp sets. The sentiment is PTI though. These cards are a little fun and fresh...not really my style but, we all should try new things from time to time right? Enjoy your hump day!

Triplicate Trials Tuesday DT TEAM!
Hey Bloggeritas! I don't know if you are aware but....
There is a new, awesome and terrific THREE PART CHALLENGE blog called TRIPLICATE TRIALS TUESDAY!!! I came up with this idea because I always find myself combining multiple challenges to create my projects. I love this concept because often times when I'm crafting (at the end of the day...when the baby and the hubby are asleep), I need a little a lot of inspiration to get me going. The challenges will incorporate a sketch, a theme and colors! How easy is that? So, a while back I posted a DT call and some great ladies responded! I wanted to introduce them to you today! If you click their photos you can visit their blogs. I'm honored that they're part of the Triple T Team and I can't wait to see what they do for our first challenge on MAY 31st! I want you to play with us!!!! Don't forget MAY 31st!
Visit the Triplicate Trials Tuesday blog at: www.triplicatetrials.blogspot.com!

Embellish Crochet Trim Color Trends challenge + SSD73
Due to the fact that it is Confederate Memorial Day (sigh...), traffic was great coming into work! This week, my husband and I are begining our new healthy life cruising into the big 3-0! Next year we will both be 30 and we want to make sure we're fabulous, fit and fine! :) We also want to run the Peachtree Road Race here in Atlanta so, it's an uphill battle, but, we're ready! On top of all that, we both want to be around for as long as possible to enjoy our son.
Moving right along...here are the juices and berries of the Embellish mag challenge as well as the Skipping Stones Design sketch:
Great inspiration right? You know what I made...A MOTHER'S DAY CARD! Yaaaay!
Since Friday was Earth Day, I've been thinking about how I could maximize the use of all the paper I devour. The shape with the sentiment on it is actually a Papertrey Ink label from a package of paper I bought from them. Awesome right? I'll talk with you all soon...LATERS!

Clean and Simple 137 + PDCC 78
Even though I went to bed late, I woke up feeling refreshed. My family and I had a terrific weekend. Picard used the potty THREE times yesterday and this is only his second week potty training! Terence and I couldn't be more proud! I used to think that our wedding day (almost five years ago in June), was the most amazing thing I had experienced in life...Picard TRUMPS that by a mile one million miles! Don't get me wrong, I love the hubby (his 29th b-day is this week YAY!), it's just his doppelganger, our son, is lighting up our lives and it's a wonderful feeling.
Well, enough about me...let's get down to the juices and berries of the Clean and Simple sketch #137 and The Play Date Cafe Challenge #78:
Julie came up with a great inspiration that has Spring and MOM written all over it so....I made a mother's day card! Surprised right? :)

Isn't that nest adorable? I purchased it from an Etsy store called Craft Zany after I had seen their nests on quite a few cards. I had to have some and when I got them (about a month ago), I was intimidated by them and never used them! Now, I'm glad that I did! Enjoy your Monday!

Card Patterns Sketch 112
It's so amazing how wonderful our planet is. Two months ago, I could see through all the limbs on the trees. Now, I can't see through them at all! Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and bees are buzzing! What a wonderful time of year. Here is my second post for the day, a sketch challenge from Card Patterns. Here are the juices and berries:
Excuse my photos as of late. There seems to be a "halo" around all the cards. Sigh.... I'm working on it! Hopefully I'll figure out what the issue is soon. Have a great day!

Hownowbrownkow CASE
I think that the crafting community is the most cordial and supportive network of women that I've encountered thus far. The positivity and support literally flows like a river! With that being said, one of my favorite bloggeritas, Keva from Hownowbrownkow is celebrating her one year blog anniversary. She is challenging folks to case one of the cards on her blog to win a gift card. I love her style it's not clean and simple but, it has a quiet simplicity that I admire. She has got skills! So here are the juices and berries:
Here is my interpretation. I hope I did her card justice with my CASE attempt. Please visit her blog and show her some anniversary love.

Card Patterns #111
There is no doubt in my mind that I'm addicted to crafting. Seriously, I am sold out to the craft bug and there is nothing anyone can do to stop me! I love (and need) paper, ink, stamps, buttons, ribbon, twine, adhesive, bling, pearls, etc.! It's just the bees knees. Below is evidence of my habit. I played along with the Card Patterns blog. Check out the juices and berries below:
I'm done posting for today...or am I??? No, I'm done! Enjoy your day!

Case Study #36
Easter is upon us. Yesterday, I had to make goodie bags for my son's toddler class as they are having an Easter egg hunt/party today. How CUTE is that? A bunch of 15-22 month olds running around picking up eggs! I think I'm the only parent that didn't bring candy...I made bags with teddy grahams. Oh well!
I played along with the squad over at the Case Study challenge blog. Here are the juices and berries:

Live! Mojo #187
Greetings Bloggeritas! Some days I wake up and I feel like I've never been to sleep. That is becoming my norm rather than, my exception. In the hustle and bustle of life, being a mother, a wife, a full time employee, a full time student and a small (teeny tiny) business owner, I get bogged down. I don't carve out much me time and when I do...it's not very much. I rarely stop and smell the roses anymore! So anyway, I used this Mojo Monday sketch to remind myself to live! I hope you enjoy my card. Here are the juices and berries:
I'm not in the mood as of late to complete a supply list at the end of my posts...I'm sure that feeling will return...eventually! Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

We also have a meeting tomorrow for our new KICKBALL TEAM! YAY! That should be fun. Anyway, I played along with the Mojo Monday challenge from earlier this week. Here it is:
Here is my little ditty of a card! I hope you like it! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Case Study #35 and Color Throw Down #137
Good morning and happy Papertrey Ink release day to you! I'm so excited! I love release day! Verve is having a release par-tay tonight too! Stamps, oh, stamps how I love thee! Anywho...I wanted to share a card with you. It is for two challenges, Case Study and Color Throw Down. Here are the juices and berries:
This is almost too much inspiration to go off of huh? I agree! My head was bursting with ideas. After I took an Advil, this is what I came up with :)

This is almost too much inspiration to go off of huh? I agree! My head was bursting with ideas. After I took an Advil, this is what I came up with :)

I hope I did a good enough job with the photography so that you can see that half of the background is vellum. I scrunched and bunched it so that it looked worn. The other half of the background is a piece of Webster's Pages DP that has the sweetest sentiments on it like "You're beautiful, You're special" that screams Mother's day doesn't it? So there you go! I hope you enjoy this card and your weekend!
Supplies:
Paper: PTI(White, Vellum), Webster's Pages, DCWV
Ink: SU! (Cajun Crush), PTI (Hawaiian Shores, Ripe Avocado)
Stamps: PTI (Tiny Tags), Verve Stamps (Happy Thoughts)
Ribbon and jewel: Hobby Lobby
Clothes pin: Craft Zany (Etsy)
